  • 2 Oct 2018
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Winchester High School Auditorium

Untreated anxiety in a child is one of the top predictors of depression in young adults. Lynn Lyons,LICSW will introduce techniques that will help your family learn to deal with anxiety and give you and your child the skills to:

• Understand and respond to your body's physical stress responses

• Move your family out of the "worry cult" (most parents unknowingly

make anxiety STRONGER!)

• Step into difficult situations

• rather than avoid them

• Focus clearly on goals, problem solving, and making

adjustments...without being ruled by anxiety and worry

Lynn Lyons, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist. She travels globally as a speaker and trainer on the subject of anxiety, its role in families, and the need for a preventative approach at home and in schools.
